    AN ACT concerning land.
 
    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
 
    Section 5. The State of Illinois owns the following
described real estate:
 
Tract 1:
    Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 14 and part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 23, all in Township 9 South, Range 2 East of
the Third Principal Meridian, Williamson County, Illinois,
being more particularly described as follows:
 
    Commencing at a concrete monument found at the southeast
    corner of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
    said Section 14; thence on the east line of the said
    Southwest quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section
    14, North 0 degrees 08 minutes 28 seconds East, 288.83 feet
    to a concrete monument found at the intersection of the
    said east quarter-quarter section line with the southerly
    right of way line of S.B.I. Route 13; thence on the said
    southerly right of way line, 192.72 feet on a curve to the
    left, having a radius of 2242.01 feet, the chord of which
    is South 78 degrees 47 minutes 16 seconds West, 192.66 feet
    to an iron pin found; thence continuing on the said
    southerly right of way line, South 76 degrees 47 minutes 12
    seconds West, 438.84 feet to an iron pipe found at the
    northeast corner of a tract of land described in a
    quit-claim deed recorded in Deed Record Book 397, Page 47
    in the Williamson County Recorder's Office; thence
    continuing on the said southerly right of way line, South
    76 degrees 43 minutes 34 seconds West, 400.84 feet to an
    iron pipe found; thence continuing on the said southerly
    right of way line, 131.81 feet on a curve to the right,
    having a radius of 2342.01 feet, the chord of which is
    South 78 degrees 20 minutes 46 seconds West, 131.80 feet to
    point 25 feet westerly of and perpendicular to the
    centerline of the entrance road to the State of Illinois
    Regional Office Building, said point being the point of
    beginning.
 
    From the said point of beginning; thence on a line parallel
    with and 25 feet westerly of the said entrance road
    centerline, South 13 degrees 43 minutes 59 seconds East,
    139.50 feet to a point on the northerly line of an easement
    for roadway purposes as described in Miscellaneous Record
    Book 291, Page 858 in the Williamson County Recorder's
    Office; thence on the said northerly easement line, South
    71 degrees 00 minutes 41 seconds West, 16.60 feet; thence
    continuing on the said northerly easement line, South 4
    degrees 06 minutes 29 seconds East, 35.65 feet; thence
    continuing on the said northerly easement line, South 63
    degrees 28 minutes 05 seconds West, 86.24 feet; thence
    continuing on the said northerly easement line, South 58
    degrees 31 minutes 39 seconds West along said Easement,
    141.69 feet to a point on the westerly line of the
    aforementioned tract of land described in a quit-claim deed
    recorded in Deed Record Book 397, Page 47; thence on the
    said westerly tract line, North 0 degrees 24 minutes 00
    seconds West, 264.27 feet to an iron pipe found on the
    southerly right of way line of S.B.I. Route 13; thence on
    the said southerly right-of-way line, 181.61 feet on a
    curve to the left, having a radius of 2342.01 feet, the
    chord of which is North 82 degrees 10 minutes 48 seconds
    East to the point of beginning.
 
Tract 2:
    Part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 23, Township 9 South, Range 2 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, Williamson County, Illinois
 
    Commencing at a concrete monument found at the southeast
    corner of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
    said Section 14; thence on the east line of the said
    Southwest quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section
    14, North 0 degrees 08 minutes 28 seconds East, 288.83 feet
    to a concrete monument found at the intersection of the
    said east quarter-quarter section line with the southerly
    right of way line of S.B.I. Route 13; thence on the said
    southerly right of way line, 192.72 feet on a curve to the
    left, having a radius of 2242.01 feet, the chord of which
    is South 78 degrees 47 minutes 16 seconds West, 192.66 feet
    to an iron pin found; thence continuing on the said
    southerly right of way line, South 76 degrees 47 minutes 12
    seconds West, 438.84 feet to an iron pipe found at the
    northeast corner of a tract of land described in a
    quit-claim deed recorded in Deed Record Book 397, Page 47
    in the Williamson County Recorder's Office; thence
    continuing on the said southerly right of way line, South
    76 degrees 43 minutes 34 seconds West, 400.84 feet to an
    iron pipe found; thence continuing on the said southerly
    right of way line, 313.42 feet on a curve to the right,
    having a radius of 2342.01 feet, the chord of which is
    South 80 degrees 34 minutes 03 seconds West, 313.19 feet to
    an iron pipe found at the northwest corner of the
    aforementioned tract of land described in a quit-claim deed
    recorded in Deed Record Book 397, Page 47; thence on the
    westerly line of the said tract of land, South 0 degrees 24
    minutes 00 seconds East, 322.71 feet to a point on the
    southerly line of an easement for roadway purposes as
    described in Miscellaneous Record Book 291, Page 858 in the
    Williamson County Recorder's Office, said point being the
    point of beginning.
 
    From the said point of beginning; thence on the said
    southerly easement line, North 58 degrees 31 minutes 39
    Seconds East, 152.38 feet; thence continuing on the said
    southerly easement line, North 63 degrees 28 minutes 05
    seconds East, 84.64 feet; thence continuing on the said
    southerly easement line, South 41 degrees 40 minutes 50
    seconds East, 25.67 feet; thence South 63 degrees 28
    minutes 05 seconds West, 90.65 feet to a point; thence
    South 58 degrees 31 minutes 39 seconds West, 166.18 feet to
    a point on the westerly line of the aforementioned tract of
    land described in a quit-claim deed recorded in Deed Record
    Book 397, Page 47; thence on the said westerly tract line,
    North 0 degrees 24 minutes 00 seconds West, 29.19 feet to
    the point of beginning.
 
    Section 10. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the State
of Illinois, and subject to the conditions set forth in Section
15 of this Act, the Director of the Department of Central
Management Services, on behalf of the State of Illinois and all
State agencies, is authorized to convey by quitclaim deed to
the Rides Mass Transit District all right, title, and interest
of the State of Illinois in and to the real estate described in
Section 5.
 
    Section 15. The quitclaim deed shall state on its face and
be subject to the condition that if the property is no longer
used for public purposes, then title shall revert without
further action to the State of Illinois.
 
    Section 20. The Director of the Department of Central
Management Services shall obtain a certified copy of this Act
within 60 days after its effective date, and shall record the
certified document in the recorder's office in the county in
which the land is located.
 
    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
