AN ACT concerning safety.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended by |
adding Section 22.02 as follows:

Sec. 22.02. Manifests for hazardous waste. Except to the |
extent required by federal law, generators and transporters of |
hazardous waste and facilities accepting hazardous waste are |
not required to submit copies of hazardous waste manifests to |
the Agency. Nothing in this Section precludes the Agency from |
collecting fees under subsection (g) of Section 22.8 of this |
Act.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
becoming law.
