    AN ACT concerning health.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Mental Health and Developmental
Disabilities Code is amended by adding Section 1-102.1 as
follows:

    (405 ILCS 5/1-102.1 new)
    Sec. 1-102.1. "Clinical professional counselor" means a
person licensed as a clinical professional counselor in
accordance with the Professional Counselor and Clinical
Professional Counselor Licensing and Practice Act.

    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
