AN ACT concerning gaming.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975 is amended |
by adding Section 31.2 as follows:

(230 ILCS 5/31.2 new) |
Sec. 31.2. Automated external defibrillators. Organization |
licensees shall make available no less than 2 automated |
external defibrillators (AEDs) that are operational and |
accessible when backstretch workers are present at their racing |
facilities. At least one AED shall be placed in the paddock of |
their racing facilities. At least one AED shall be placed on |
the backstretch of their racing facilities.
