AN ACT concerning education.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 3. The School Code is amended by changing Section |
10-20.51 as follows:

Sec. 10-20.51. Press boxes; accessibility. A school board |
does not have to comply with the Illinois Accessibility Code |
(71 Ill. Adm. Code 400) with respect to accessibility to press |
boxes that are on school property if the press boxes are in |
bleachers that have points of entry at only one level, and the |
aggregate area of the press box is no more than 500 square feet |
were constructed before August 25, 2009 (the effective date of |
Public Act 96-674).
