AN ACT concerning utilities.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by changing |
Section 4-603 as follows:
|
(220 ILCS 5/4-603)
|
Sec. 4-603. Adequate employment for in-house utility |
employees. The staff of the Commission shall develop benchmarks |
for employee staffing levels for each classification and |
employee training for each classification, subject to the |
requirements of Section 4-602 of this Act, within one year |
after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 96th |
General Assembly.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
becoming law.
