AN ACT concerning employment.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Day and Temporary Labor Services Act is |
amended by adding Section 96 as follows:
|
(820 ILCS 175/96 new)
|
Sec. 96. Day and temporary labor service agency; recovery |
of attorney's fees and costs. A day and temporary labor service |
agency may recover attorney's fees and costs in a civil action |
brought by the day and temporary labor service agency against a |
third-party client for breach of contract by the third-party |
client in relation to services provided by the agency to the |
third-party client if the plaintiff prevails in the lawsuit.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
becoming law.
