AN ACT concerning local government.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by changing Section |
3-5031 as follows:
|
(55 ILCS 5/3-5031) (from Ch. 34, par. 3-5031)
|
Sec. 3-5031. Penalty. If any recorder shall willfully fail |
to perform
any duty imposed upon him by this Division, he shall |
be guilty
of malfeasance in office, and shall be punished |
accordingly, and shall be
liable to the party injured for all |
damages occasioned thereby.
