AN ACT concerning education.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections |
10-20.73 and 34-18.67 as follows:

(105 ILCS 5/10-20.73 new) |
Sec. 10-20.73. Student identification; suicide prevention |
information. Each school district shall provide contact |
information for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and |
for the Crisis Text Line on the back of each student |
identification card issued by the school district. If the |
school district does not issue student identification cards to |
its students or to all of its students, the school district |
must publish this information on its website.
