Short description: 
CRIM PRO-UNPAID COSTS                                                      

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963.  Provides that the      
   clerk of the court may add a delinquency  amount  fee  to  the  unpaid      
   fines and unpaid costs of conviction of a convicted person equal to an      
   amount of 5% of the unpaid fines and costs that remain unpaid after 30      
   days,  10%  of  the unpaid fines and costs that remain unpaid after 60      
   days, and 15% of the unpaid fines and costs that remain  unpaid  after      
   90  days.    Provides  that  after  90 days delinquency, the clerk may      
   release that information of delinquency to credit reporting agencies.       
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                
        Provides that notice to those parties affected  may  be  made  by      
   signage posting or publication.  Includes in the delinquency amount, a      
   percentage  of  unpaid  fees  and  penalties.   Also provides that the      
   additional delinquency amounts  collected  shall  be  used  to  defray      
   additional  administrative  costs  incurred  by  the  circuit clerk in      
   collecting unpaid fines, costs, fees, and penalties.
