Creates the Career and Technical Education Fund to be used by the Illinois Community College Board for operational expenses associated with the administration of Career and Technical Education, for payment of Career and Technical Education grants to colleges, and for payment of costs relating to State leadership activities. Effective immediately. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Provides that the Comptroller shall order transferred and the State Treasurer shall transfer from the Federal Department of Education Fund into the Career and Technical Education Fund such amounts as may be directed in writing by the State Board of Education.
