Short description: 
PRIV SECURITY-EXEMPTIONS                                                   

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Private Detective, Private  Alarm,  Private  Security,      
   and  Locksmith  Act  of  1993.  Makes  changes  to  the exemption from      
   licensure concerning law enforcement officers employed by an  employer      
   in connection with the affairs of that employer.                            
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
        Deletes everything after the  enacting  clause.    Reinserts  the      
   provisions  of  the  bill as introduced with the following changes: in      
   the exemption  from  licensure  concerning  law  enforcement  officers      
   employed  by  an  employer  in  connection  with  the  affairs of that      
   employer,  provides  that  the  exemption  applies   while   the   law      
   enforcement officer is employed as a security officer and restores the      
   definition of "employee".
