Senate Sponsors: MOLARO. Short description: RVRBT-10TH LIC TAX Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Riverboat Gambling Act. Deletes the provision requiring that an amount equal to 15% of the adjusted gross receipts of an owners licensee that (1) relocated to a new home dock location or (2) receives an initial owners license after June 25, 1999, whichever comes first, be paid from the State Gaming Fund into the Horse Racing Equity Fund. Provides that a tax of 15% of its adjusted gross receipts is imposed on the first owners licensee that (1) relocates to a new home dock location or (2) receives an initial owners license at any time after June 25, 1999. Amends the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975 to make a corresponding change. Effective immediately.
