EDUCATION LABOR RELATIONS BD                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Educational Labor  Relations  Act.   Makes  a      
   technical change in a Section concerning employee rights.                   
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          115 ILCS 5/3                                                         
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          115 ILCS 5/8                    from Ch. 48, par. 1708               
        Deletes  everything  after  the  enacting  clause.   Amends   the      
   Illinois  Educational  Labor Relations Act. Provides that the Illinois      
   Educational Labor Relations Board shall certify  the  results  of  the      
   election  of  an exclusive bargaining representative within 6 (instead      
   of 5) working days after the final tally of votes.                          
          FISCAL NOTE (Educational Labor Relations Board)                      
          No fiscal impact will result from SB-1241.
