Short description: ENERGY ASSIST-GAS REVENUE Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Gas Revenue Tax Act to provide that 25% of the proceeds shall be paid into the Supplemental Low-Income Energy Assistance Fund instead of the General Revenue Fund. Amends the Energy Assistance Act of 1989. Provides that the annual eligibility level may not be higher than 250% (now, 150%) of the federal nonfarm poverty level.
