$CDB-BUILD ILL-ILL FIRST                                                   

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Appropriates $2 from the General Revenue Fund to  the  Office  of      
   the  Governor for its FY03 ordinary and contingent expenses. Effective      
   July 1, 2002.                                                               
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          P.A. 92-8                                                            
        Deletes everything after enacting clause. Makes appropriations         
   and reappropriations to the Capital Development Board for its               
   various projects, grants, and obligations. Makes appropriations and         
   reappropriations to various entities under the Build Illinois and           
   Illinois FIRST Programs. Effective July 1, 2002.                            
        GOVERNOR'S LINE ITEM VETO MESSAGE                                      
        Vetoes various appropriation line items for various capital            
   projects that are not ready for commencement during FY 2003,                
   including an appropriation to the Department of Agriculture for             
   a diagnostic laboratory at Galesburg and to the Capital Development         
   Board for certain projects under the Secretary of State, the                
   Department of Corrections, the Department of Human Services and             
   the Department of State Police.
