Short description: 
LAND CONVEYANCE ACT-TECH                                                   

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Creates the Land Conveyance Act of 2002.  Contains only  a  short      
   title provision.                                                            
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          New Act                                                              
        Releases the easement  for  highway  purposes  over  and  through      
   specifically  described  land  in  Lake  County,  Illinois.  Effective      
   immediately.                                                                
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 3.                                                 
        Provides that the release of easement is subject to the  City  of      
   Highland  Park owning all other right, title, and interest in the real      
   estate underlying the easement and, if the real estate underlying  the      
   easement  is  ever used for anything other than a public purpose, then      
   the State of Illinois, with respect to the easement only, has a  right      
   of  re-entry  for  breach  of  condition subsequent. Provides that the      
   release  of  easement   shall   be   accomplished   pursuant   to   an      
   intergovernmental   agreement   among   the  State  of  Illinois,  the      
   Department of Transportation, the Department of Natural Resources, and      
   the City of Highland Park.
