CRIM CD-ATTEMPT-SENTENCE                                                   

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Criminal Code  of  1961.  Provides  that  the  maximum      
   sentence  for  an attempt to commit an offense is the maximum sentence      
   for the offense attempted. Effective immediately.
