Makes technical changes in a Section regarding the use of terms. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Adds reference to: 60 ILCS 1/60-5 Deletes everything. Amends the Township Code. Provides that no office-holder vacating his or her office shall be eligible to vote for his or her replacement. Provides that if a vacancy occurs in the office of township clerk, the township board shall appoint an interim clerk until a permanent replacement can be appointed. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 2. Makes a technical correction. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 3. Adds reference to: 60 ILCS 1/35-55 Further amends the Township Code. Provides that senior citizens services provided for by a tax levy may include, but are not limited to, the construction, maintenance, repair, and operation of a senior citizens center. Provides that the tax levy is subject to the exten- sion limits set forth in the Property Tax Extension Limitation Law of the Property Tax Code.
