House Sponsors: ZICKUS. Short description: PROFESSIONS-IMPAIRED PROF Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Department of Professional Regulation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Professional Regulation shall establish the Impaired Professionals Assistance System for the treatment and monitoring of impaired professionals. Amends numerous Acts relating to the regulation of professions to provide for the care, counseling, and treatment of impaired professionals and to add to the list of grounds for discipline the failure to comply with the terms and conditions of an agreement with the Impaired Professionals Assistance System or other such approved treatment program. Makes other changes. Effective immediately.
