Provides that certain overtime provisions do not apply to a crew member of an uninspected towing vessel (as defined by Federal law) operating in navigable waters in or along the boundaries of Illinois, except Lake Michigan. Effective immediately. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Adds reference to: 820 ILCS 140/2 from Ch. 48, par. 8b Deletes the Lake Michigan exception. Amends the One Day Rest In Seven Act. Provides that provisions requiring 24 consecutive hours of rest every week do not apply to a crew member of an uninspected towing vessel (as defined by Federal law) operating in navigable waters in or along the boundaries of Illinois.
