Allows transfer of law enforcement service credits from a downstate police pension fund to the Chicago police pension fund. PENSION NOTE (Illinois Pension Laws Commission) The fiscal impact of HB 4009 cannot be determined. There may be a fiscal impact to the Chicago Police Pension Fund, if the transferred and required employee contributions do not cover the entire cost of the service credit established in the Fund.
