FIRE SPRINKLER CONTRACTOR LIC                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Creates the Fire Sprinkler Contractor Licensing Act.   Authorizes      
   the  State Fire Marshal to regulate persons who hold themselves out to      
   be in the business  of  or  contract  to  install  or  repair  a  fire      
   sprinkler  system.  Imposes  licensure requirements.  Imposes criminal      
   and civil penalties for violations of the Act. Provides for deposit of      
   fees and fines into the Fire  Prevention  Fund.  Preempts  home  rule.      
   Effective immediately.
