Short description: 
USE-OCC TAX-EXEMPT GASOHOL                                                 

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service  Use  Tax  Act,  the  Service      
   Occupation  Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act.  Beginning      
   January 1, 2002, exempts gasohol from  the  tax  imposed  under  these      
   Acts.   Provides  that  the sunset provisions of the Act do not apply.      
   Provides that the 30% reduction of the tax imposed under these Acts on      
   the proceeds of sales of gasohol applies to sales made  on  or  before      
   January  1,  2002  (now,  on  or  before  July  1,  2003).   Effective      
   immediately.
