Short description: 
CRIMINAL-EXPOSIVES-SCHOOLS                                                 

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 and the  Criminal  Code  of      
   1961  relating  to  deadly weapons.  Increases penalties for juveniles      
   and adults who bring bombs,  explosives,  machine  guns,  and  certain      
   other  firearms to schools or within 1,000 feet of a school, or on any      
   conveyance used by  a  school  to  transport  students.   Creates  the      
   offense  of  aggravated  possession  of  explosives  or  explosive  or      
   incendiary  devices. Expands the definition of "school" to include day      
   care centers, nursery schools, kindergartens, camps,  and  day  camps.      
   Effective immediately.
