Short description: 
AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR-RETURN PARTS                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Automotive Repair Act. Provides that, when a work           
   order is taken, a motor vehicle repair facility shall offer to return       
   or show replaced parts to the consumer. Provides that the motor             
   vehicle repair facility shall return or show replaced parts to the          
   consumer upon the completion of the work (except for parts that must        
   be returned to the manufacturer or distributor under a warranty or          
   exchange agreement). Provides that the motor vehicle repair facility        
   may not be required to show a replaced part if no charge is being made      
   for the part. Provides that the motor vehicle repair facility is            
   required to retain replaced parts only until the consumer takes             
   possession of the vehicle.

          There will be no fiscal impact from HB1930.
