Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the School Code.  Makes a technical change  in  a  Section      
   concerning waivers of School Code mandates.                                 
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          105 ILCS 5/2-3.25g                                                   
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          105 ILCS 5/1A-4                 from Ch. 122, par. 1A-4              
        Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends  the  School      
   Code.  Provides  that  the  appointment of the State Superintendent of      
   Education must be made with the advice  and  consent  of  the  Senate.      
   Effective immediately.
