Short description: 
AGING-FUNDING DISTRIBUTION                                                 

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging.  Makes a  technical  change      
   in the definition of "Department".                                          
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                 
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          20 ILCS 105/3.01                                                     
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          20 ILCS 105/4.01                from Ch. 23, par. 6104.01            
        Deletes everything.   Amends  the  Illinois  Act  on  the  Aging.      
   Requires  the  Department on Aging to distribute new funds, except for      
   legislatively directed programs  requiring  funding  at  a  designated      
   level  for  a  defined target population, to area agencies on aging in      
   accordance  with  the   intrastate   funding   formula.      Effective      
   immediately.
