LIQ CNTRL-FOR IMPRTR REGISTER                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934.  Provides that  a  foreign      
   importer  shall  be required to register every brand of liquor that it      
   proposes to sell  to  Illinois  licensees  with  the  Illinois  Liquor      
   Control Commission.  Provides that a person who has been appointed the      
   right  to  sell  alcoholic  liquor at wholesale but has not received a      
   copy of the registration statement may file  a  separate  registration      
   statement with the State Commission.                                        
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Further amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934.  Provides that  if      
   a  person who has been appointed the right to sell alcoholic liquor at      
   wholesale but has not received a copy of  the  registration  statement      
   files  a separate registration statement with the State Commission, he      
   or she shall also furnish a copy of that registration statement to the      
   manufacturer, non-resident dealer, distributor, importing distributor,      
   or  foreign  importer  within  30  days  of  filing  the  registration      
   statement.
