Provides for the establishment of a pilot program at a Department of Corrections facility built on or after January 1, 2002 in which the inmates shall be prohibited from possessing cigarettes and other tobacco products. Also provides that the Director of Corrections may prohibit the inmates of Department facilities built before January 1, 2002 from possessing cigarettes and other tobacco products as the Director deems appropriate. Effective immediately.
