Short description: 
CONT SUB-ENHANCED PENALTIES                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Criminal Code of 1961  relating  to  the  offenses  of      
   drug-induced  homicide  and  drug  induced  infliction of great bodily      
   harm.  Provides that the offenses include the unlawful delivery of any      
   controlled substance   (rather  than  specifically  listed  controlled      
   substances)   that  result  in death or great bodily harm or permanent      
   disability  to  the  person  who  injects,  inhales,  or  ingests  the      
   substance. Amends the Illinois Controlled Substances Act. Provides for      
   increased penalties for the unlawful delivery or possession  of  MDMA,      
   MDEA, PMA, Nexus, MDA, MMDA, DOET, or DMA.                                  
          CORRECTIONAL NOTE (Department of Corrections)                        
          There will be minimal prison population impact and fiscal            
          impact.
