MADIGAN,L. New Act Creates the Toxic Mold Protection Act. Requires the Department of Public Health, if it determines that funds are available for the implementation of this Act, (1) to develop standards for exposure to mold in indoor environments, (2) to adopt standards to assess the health threat posed by mold, (3) to develop and disseminate remediation guidelines for mold in indoor environments, and (4) to impose notification requirements on landlords and sellers of real property.
