CLAYBORNE. 65 ILCS 5/11-135-2 from Ch. 24, par. 11-135-2 Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Deletes the provision that prohibits a municipal water commissioner who is also a member of the governing board or officer of the municipality or county from which the appointment is made from receiving compensation. Requires the treasurer of the commission to furnish bond in an amount that is not less than $50,000 (now, $5,000).
