KARPIEL. 105 ILCS 5/1C-2 Amends the School Code. Provides that for fiscal year 2003 and each fiscal year thereafter, the State Board of Education shall award to each school district (now just the Chicago school district) a general education block grant and an educational services block grant in lieu of distributing to the district separate State funding for those programs specified.
