FISCAL NOTE, H-AM 1 (State Board of Education) There are currently a number school districts that might be- come eligible for this supplemental State aid because of po- tential bankruptcies involving steel companies. It is almost impossible to estimate the number and size of such bankruptcies over time. Currently, Granite City CUSD #9 would be eligible for this payment at a cost of approximately $1 million for each year that the entity is in bankruptcy.
