DANIELS-MEYER-JOHNSON-CROSS.

(DILLARD)

   730 ILCS 5/5-8-4          from Ch. 38, par. 1005-8-4                        

        Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that  the  court      
   shall  sentence  a  defendant  to  consecutive sentences if one of the      
   offenses that the defendant was convicted of was leaving the scene  of      
   a  motor  vehicle  accident  involving  death  or  personal  injuries,      
   aggravated driving under the influence, or reckless homicide.               
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Provides that the consecutive sentencing shall be imposed if  the      
   defendant  was convicted of leaving the scene of an accident involving      
   death or personal injuries and either (A) driving under the  influence      
   or  (B)  reckless  homicide,  or  both driving under the influence and      
   reckless homicide.
