(KARPIEL-GEO-KARIS-TROTTER-BOWLES) 30 ILCS 575/2 from Ch. 127, par. 132.602 Amends the Business Enterprise for Minorities, Females, and Persons with Disabilities Act. Provides that the Business Enterprise Council will determine the gross annual sales cap for certification that a business entity is a business owned by a minority, female, or person with a disability. Effective immediately. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Removes the amendatory changes. Provides instead that a "business concern or business" is defined as a business having annual gross sales for the most recent fiscal year of less than $27,000,000 ($14,000,000 under current law).
