HARTKE.

(MYERS)

   35 ILCS 200/3-5                                                             

        Amends the Property Tax Code. Provides that a  county  supervisor      
   of  assessments  who  has served as a supervisor of assessments for 12      
   years or more is qualified to hold office if he or she has a Certified      
   Illinois Assessing Official certificate  from  the  Illinois  Property      
   Assessment  Institute  with  a  minimum  of  360  additional  hours of      
   successfully completed courses approved by the Department  of  Revenue      
   if  at  least  180 of the course hours required a written examination.      
   Effective immediately.

          HB 4337 does not have fiscal implications for the Department of      
          Revenue or the State of Illinois.
