BELLOCK. 415 ILCS 55/9 from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 7459 Amends the Illinois Groundwater Protection Act. Provides that before property that has a well on it can be sold, the owner must have the well water tested for groundwater contaminants. Provides that if the well water does not meet the Pollution Control Board's Groundwater Quality Standards, the owner shall notify the Illinois Department of Public Health and the prospective buyer of the property.
