HOLBROOK-JONES,JOHN-HOFFMAN-STEPHENS-MAUTINO, BASSI, 
   DAVIS,STEVE, MCGUIRE, MATHIAS AND MOFFITT.

(BOWLES-NOLAND)

   15 ILCS 520/7             from Ch. 130, par. 26                             

        Amends the Deposit  of  State  Moneys  Act.   Permits  the  State      
   Treasurer  to  deposit  State moneys at a reduced interest rate with a      
   financial institution that agrees to use moneys equal to the  interest      
   reduction for preservation of Cahokia Mounds.  Effective immediately.       
          FISCAL NOTE (State Treasurer)                                        
          HB 4066 will not increase State expenditures. However, the           
          lower rate of interest will have a slight decrease in revenues.      
          At today's interest rates, revenues would decrease $1,160 per        
          $100,000 on deposit for one year.
