   5 ILCS 375/10             from Ch. 127, par. 530                            

        Amends the State Employees Group Insurance Act of 1971.  Provides      
   that the State contribution toward the cost of the  basic  program  of      
   group  health  benefits  for a new SERS annuitant or new SERS survivor      
   shall be based upon creditable service under Article 14 and Article  7      
   of the Illinois Pension Code.  Effective immediately.
