   105 ILCS 5/18-8.05                                                          

        Amends the School Code.  In the  State  aid  formula  provisions,      
   provides  that  in districts holding year-round classes, each month in      
   which students attend classes for more than 20 calendar days shall  be      
   counted  as a separate month for the purpose of calculating the best 3      
   months average daily attendance.  Effective immediately.                    
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Deletes everything after the enacting clause.  Amends  the  State      
   aid  formula  provisions  of  the  School Code. In calculating Average      
   Daily Attendance, provides that in districts in  which  all  buildings      
   hold  year-round  classes, days of attendance in July and August shall      
   be added to the month of September and any days of attendance in  June      
   shall  be  added  to  the  month of May. Provides that in districts in      
   which some buildings, but not all, hold year-round  classes,  (i)  for      
   the  non-year-round  buildings,  days of attendance in August shall be      
   added to the month of September and any days  of  attendance  in  June      
   shall be added to the month of May, (ii) for the year-round buildings,      
   days  of  attendance in July and August shall be added to the month of      
   September and any days of attendance in June shall  be  added  to  the      
   month  of May, and (iii) to calculate the Average Daily Attendance for      
   the  district,  the  average  daily  attendance  for  the   year-round      
   buildings  shall  be  multiplied  by  the  days  in  session  for  the      
   non-year-round  buildings  for  each  month  and  added to the monthly      
   attendance of the non-year-round buildings. Effective immediately.
