STROGER. (CULLERTON) 755 ILCS 5/20-7 from Ch. 110 1/2, par. 20-7 Amends the Probate Act of 1975. Provides that a sale of a decedent's real estate may be conducted by means of the Internet or any other electronic medium as approved by the court. Effective July 1, 2001. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Provides that the notice required to be given by means of the Internet or other electronic medium must include a statement that public access to the Internet is available at public libraries. Provides that any notice required to be given by means of the Internet or other electronic medium is in addition to any other notice required in connection with a public sale of a decedent's real estate.
