1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of
3 Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Christine
4 Prevolos on August 6, 2002; and
5 WHEREAS, Mrs. Prevolos was born to George and Marie
6 Molles; and
7 WHEREAS, She married her husband of 52 years, George, in
8 1950 at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago; and
9 WHEREAS, She worked as an Administrative Assistant for
10 the Senate Democratic Staff in Chicago for many years; and
11 WHEREAS, Her passing will be deeply felt by all who knew
12 and loved her especially her husband, George; her children,
13 Nancy (Patrick) Cibula, Dean, Tony (Carrie) and Michael
14 (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Charlie and John Cibula, and
15 Nicholas, Christine, Alex, Melissa, Maria, George and Peter
16 Prevolos; her sister, Jane (the late William) McCarthy; many
17 nieces and nephews; and her 12 godchildren; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
20 Christine Prevolos and extend our sincere condolences to her
21 family and friends; and
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 delivered to the family of Christine Prevolos.
