 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate were saddened
 3    to learn of the death of Mary Y. Boyle of Thayer on September
 4    23, 2002; and

 5        WHEREAS, Mary Y. Boyle was  born  on  April  6,  1911  in
 6    Thayer,  the daughter of George and Mary Marinchak Yacup; she
 7    married Clarence Boyle in Virden in 1935; he preceded her  in
 8    death  in  1986;  a  son, Kenneth Boyle, also preceded her in
 9    death; and

10        WHEREAS, Mrs. Boyle was  1929  graduate  of  Virden  High
11    School;  she  was  a  homemaker  and a member of Sacred Heart
12    Church in Virden, the Royal Neighbors,  the  Catholic  Ladies
13    Society and an auxiliary member of Legion of Mary; and

14        WHEREAS,  Mary Boyle's passing will be deeply felt by her
15    family and friends, especially her daughter Mary Diane Boyle;
16    her  six  grandchildren  and  four  great-grandchildren;  her
17    brother John (wife, Frances) Yacup; three  sisters,  Margaret
18    Nardi,  Dorothy Maley, and Regina (husband, Richard) O'Brian;
19    and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

20        RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-SECOND  GENERAL
21    ASSEMBLY  OF  THE  STATE  OF ILLINOIS, that we note with deep
22    sorrow and regret the death of Mary Y. Boyle and  extend  our
23    sincere  condolences  to  her  family  and friends; and be it
24    further

25        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
26    presented to the family of Mary Y. Boyle.
