1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Eugene C. Bzdawka of Lindenhurst,
4 who passed away April 18, 2002; and
5 WHEREAS, Mr. Bzdawka was born April 15, 1930, in
6 Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Stephen and Agnes Bzdawka;
7 and
8 WHEREAS, Mr. Bzdawka married Delores Blaskowski on May
9 29, 1954, in Wausau, Wisconsin; and
10 WHEREAS, Mr. Bzdawka served in the US Army during the
11 Korean Conflict; and
12 WHEREAS, Mr. Bzdawka graduated from Marquette University
13 in Milwaukee and moved to Waukegan in 1966; in 1969, he moved
14 to Lindenhurst; and
15 WHEREAS, Mr. Bzdawka worked as a Deputy Lake County Clerk
16 in the Tax Extension Department until his retirement; and
17 WHEREAS, Mr. Bzdawka will be deeply missed by all those
18 who knew him and loved him, especially his wife, Delores; his
19 loving children, Eugene, Donald (Darlene), Barbara (Bill)
20 Kufahl, Susan (Mark) Ring, and Sally (Tim) Harvey; his
21 grandchildren, Thomas, Jennifer, Billy, Kelly, Dustin, Deric,
22 Eric, Nicole, Jake, and Maxwell; his great-grandchildren,
23 Tristan, Alex, and Ethan; and his sister, Joan Bzdawka;
24 therefore, be it
25 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
26 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
27 his family and friends, the passing of Eugene C. Bzdawka; and
28 be it further
29 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
30 presented to the family of Eugene C. Bzdawka with our most
