92_SR0217 LRB9209874RHrhC 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Judith Mudd, who passed away on August 18, 2001; and 5 WHEREAS, Judith Mudd was born on July 20, 1937 in Peoria, 6 Illinois to Carroll and Thelma Nofsinger; she married Joseph 7 Charles Mudd on November 6, 1954; and 8 WHEREAS, Judith Mudd attended Manual High School; she 9 held a beautician's license in the State of Illinois and 10 Florida; and 11 WHEREAS, Judith Mudd was active in politics and was an 12 active campaigner; she was opinionated and kept track of 13 current events; and 14 WHEREAS, Judith Mudd enjoyed her hobbies of bowling and 15 golfing and was a member of the Peoria Women's Bowling 16 League; in addition, she was a lover of animals and little 17 children; and 18 WHEREAS, The passing of Judith Mudd will be deeply felt 19 by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband, Joseph 20 Mudd; her sons, Joseph (wife, Cheryl) Mudd and Timothy (wife, 21 Janice) Mudd; her daughter, Elizabeth (husband, Mark) 22 Christensen; her sisters, Audrey Bohm and Sheila (husband, 23 William) Siebenthal; her grandchildren, Ashley and Lindi; and 24 her great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Thomas; and 25 WHEREAS, Judith Mudd will be remembered by all who loved 26 her as a pretty little girl with a big smile; therefore, be 27 it 28 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 29 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 30 all who knew her, the death of Judith Mudd of Peoria, -2- LRB9209874RHrhC 1 Illinois; and be it further 2 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 3 presented to the family of Judith Mudd with our sincere 4 condolences.
