1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Frank J. Baum, Jr., who passed away on June 24, 2001; and
5 WHEREAS, Frank J. Baum, Jr. proudly served in the United
6 States Air Force during the Korean War; and
7 WHEREAS, Frank J. Baum, Jr., a 31-year resident of
8 Woodridge, was a retired plant superintendent for Brockway
9 Standard in Franklin Park; and
10 WHEREAS, Frank J. Baum, Jr. enjoyed playing golf, big
11 game hunting, archery, watching sports, exercising, long
12 walks, gardening, and spending lots of time with his
13 grandchildren; and
14 WHEREAS, The passing of Frank J. Baum, Jr. will be deeply
15 felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife,
16 Norma; his children, Frank III, Michael, Robert, and Lori;
17 his eight grandchildren; and his sisters, Theresa Shuster,
18 Patty Laniewski, and Betty Harasin; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
20 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
21 all who knew him, the death of Frank J. Baum, Jr. of
22 Woodridge, Illinois; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to the family of Frank J. Baum, Jr. with our
25 sincere condolences.
