 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Illinois  Senate  wish  to
 3    express  their  sincere condolences to the family and friends
 4    of Larry Coleman, who passed away on May 16, 2001; and

 5        WHEREAS, Mr. Coleman was a master craftsman at  the  York
 6    Barber  Shop  in  Hinsdale,  Illinois  for more than 30 years
 7    where he was a true friend to hundreds of his customers; and

 8        WHEREAS, Mr. Coleman was an example of an all-time  truly
 9    unique  human  being; his shaggy, but well-groomed, beard was
10    his trademark; he loved his motorcycle and cowboy  boots;  he
11    was  an avid story-teller but never gossiped; in addition, he
12    loved  painting  on  canvas,  carving  and  leatherwork,  and
13    leading Revolutionary War re-enactments; and

14        WHEREAS, Larry Coleman was a veteran of the United States
15    Army; in addition, he served as a member of the Berwyn  Post,
16    American Legion; and

17        WHEREAS, The passing of Larry Coleman will be deeply felt
18    by  all  who  knew and loved him, especially his wife, Sandy;
19    his son, Bart; his mother,  Geraldine,  his  brothers,  Gary,
20    Bart,  and Russell; his many nieces and nephews; and his many
21    friends at the York Barber Shop in Hinsdale; therefore, be it

22        RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-SECOND  GENERAL
23    ASSEMBLY  OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
24    all who knew him, the  death  of  Larry  Coleman  of  Downers
25    Grove, Illinois; and be it further

26        RESOLVED,  That  suitable  copies  of  this resolution be
27    presented to the family of Larry Coleman and to  his  friends
28    at  the  York  Barber  Shop  in  Hinsdale  with  our  sincere
29    condolences.
