1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 convey their sadness at hearing of the death of Bernice
4 Pensoneau of Belleville, Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, Bernice Flossie Pensoneau was born in
6 Belleville, Illinois, on December 23, 1911; she married
7 Leslie E. Pensoneau in Naperville, Illinois, in 1934; and
8 WHEREAS, Bernice Pensoneau attended Belleville Township
9 High School; after graduation she worked as a buyer in the
10 drapery department of the Fellner store in Belleville; she
11 was a member of the women's division of the Belleville
12 Chamber of Commerce and was a Gold Star mother; and
13 WHEREAS, The passing of Bernice Pensoneau will be deeply
14 felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her daughter,
15 Ms. Leslie Schaller; her son, Taylor (wife, Elizabeth)
16 Pensoneau; and her three grandchildren, Terri Schaller,
17 Jennifer Pensoneau, and Taylor Terry Pensoneau; therefore, be
18 it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
20 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing
21 of Bernice Pensoneau and extend our condolences to her family
22 and friends at this time; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to the family of Bernice Pensoneau.
